First Year Recap

Alex is good with words and even better at telling stories. With that I invite you to visit his description of Year One in Bean Town.

Speaking as another transplant who went through much the same difficulty as you, all I can say is...I feel your pain. That said, we're both here now, so perhaps we can help each other make the best of it.

One day, I know I'll be back on the west coast - but with weather like this to remind you of some of those wet and cool days in the Pacific Northwest, maybe I won't be in such a hurry...lol.

we miss you both...but it has been hot as hades here the last two days in sunny seattle. we need AC badly. tempers rise with the temp.
bring your own personal fan in july or is that each other?

just to give you an update on claire. today was a big day. she finally met the guy who drives the trash truck - Elgin. we have songs about the trash truck and now we know that "Elgin wears a green shirt." every friday we have to run to see the trash truck. she also has curiously been saying, "that is very delicate" although we aren't sure what that is quite...william just smiles and smiles. in fact he has an upper lip snarl/smile similiar to the king himself - baby elvis lives. see you in july.
